Price and Clarkson bring home 19 medals between them
The Isle of Man Gymnastics squad's hand luggage will have been a lot heavier on the journey back from Aweland as they returned home with a whopping 67 medals from the Gymnastics Inter-Island Games.
The Manx side battled against 9 other Islands in the competition.
Golden boy for the juniors was Josh Clarkson, who, aside from his team medal, won a total of 10 golds and 2 bronze.
He was followed by Max Cairnie with 2 golds 4 silver and 4 bronze, Rory Hughes brought home 5 silvers and 3 bronze and Thomas Lamb took 1 gold and 1 silver.
In the junior girls, Alice Teare finished with 2 gold and 2 silver, Lacey Jackson took 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze, Holly Watt has 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze, and Lily Bosendorfer came away with 4 bronzes.
Georgia Price led the way for the senior girls winning the prestigious F.I.G. all around competition, collecting 4 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronzes, Nicole Borucka left with 1 gold and 1 silver, there was 1 gold and 1 bronze for Elizabeth Campbell, and Amara Brogan secured 1 bronze.
Harry Eyres was man of the match in the boys F.I.G. gaining a silver on floor and a bronze in the high bar.
Ewan McIlraith also got a bronze on rings.
In a post on social media, IOM Gymnastics says the future is looking vey bright for Orkney in two years’ time, where gymnastics will be included in the 2025 Island Games.
