Shaun Harris stormed to victory at Wanganui in New Zealand on Boxing Day.
The 44-year-old Kiwi was racing his Triumph Daytona 675 on the Cemetery Circuit decked out in a Three Legs of Mann helmet.
Fittingly the one mile course is known as the Isle of Man of the Southern Hemisphere.
Harris intends to return to the Island next year but is running low on funds and needs to compete in two or three more events in New Zealand before he can qualify for TT 2009.
He's battled back after suffering near-fatal injuries in the Superstock at the 2007 event.
