
Manxman Mark Higgins had to settle for second place in the Pirelli International Rally.
He was pipped by two seconds by Irish duo Keith Cronin and Greg Shinnors in round two of the British Rally Championship.
The 22 year-old Irish driver snatched 4.4 seconds from Higgins on the final 8.7 mile Valley stage.
It leaves Higgins and co-driver Bryan Thomas in second place in the overall standings after two rounds.
Of the other locals, Rob Fagg and Kyle Orr finished 13th, one place ahead of Martin Jones and Chris Killip, while David Harrison and Glyn Thomas were 22nd.
