Hill bows out of Welsh Open

Manxman beaten 4-1

Isle of Man Snooker professional Darryl Hill is out of the Coral Welsh Open.

He was beaten 4-1 by world number 12 player Ali Carter at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.

Hill won a very long and tense opening frame, when he put together a break of 58 after safety play had dominated.

Carter won the second frame with a 72 break, and took the final frame with a break of 52 to seal the match.
