Jed Etchells claims 2026 British Enduro crown

Fellow Manxman, Will Keenan wins Vets Over 35 title

Manxman, Jed Etchells has been crowned British Enduro champion for 2026.

The Island rider scoops the elite championship title just three points clear of nearest challenger, Jack Edmondson following the final two rounds of the series in Wales last weekend (12-13 September).

It's the second time Etchells has claimed the coveted title having first won the same honours in 2023.

He's not the only local competitor to have achieved success in this year's series as fellow Isle of Man rider, Will Keenan secured overall victory this year in the Vet Over 35 class.

Whilst Etchells went into last weekend at Builth Wells with a reassuring points gap to Edmondson in the Elite Championship title race, the latter put up a big fight to close the gap in race one on Saturday, 12 September where he took victory and 20 points.

However, former junior world champion, Etchells did enough to put the championship beyond doubt by finishing second in the same race.

Even with things mathematically out of his hands going into race two, Edmonson finished with a flourish with a second win of the weekend whilst Etchells retired from race two with a mechanical issue.

Elsewhere, it was a commanding finish to the season for Keenan in the Vet Over 25's where he guaranteed the title in style with by winning both races in the category across both days.
