Team Isle of Man Cycling Manager Gary Hinds has backed the reported comments of Mark Cavendish, who believes the only punishment for drug cheats in his sport is jail.
Late last night, Tour de France leader Michael Rasmussen was kicked out of the race and sacked by his team, after lying over his whereabouts in June.
In recent days, several riders have returned positive drugs tests, putting cycling back in the dock.
Six Isle of Man riders are part of British Cycling's development programmes - Mark Cavendish, Jonny Bellis, Peter Kennaugh, Chris Whorrall, Mark Christian and Christopher Nicholson.
The Britsh set-up has a "zero tolerance" approach to drugs.
Gary Hinds says this is why Cavendish is so angry about recent events in "Le Tour":-
Hockey: Bacchas Mens and Valkyrs Ladies among sides to progress from cup first round
Rugby: Douglas keep playoff hopes alive
Football: Castletown close in on Division 2 leaders
More men on the Island getting involved in netball
