Ela B involved in School Games National Finals this week
An upcoming talent in Isle of Man hockey has earned an international call-up this week.
Harlequins competitor, Ela B (whose full name can't be published due to England Hockey safeguarding rules) has been selected to represent the England Under-18 Girls squad at the School Games National Finals being held from today until Sunday (3-6 September).
It'll be an England debut for the Island player with England set to take on Wales, Ulster and Scotland at the tournament in Leicestershire.
Having began her hockey journey at the Manx Youth Games in 2016, Ela has since gone on to represent the Isle of Man women's national sides at both junior and senior level.
England's first game of the tournament against Wales gets underway today (3 September) at 1pm.
That will be followed by matches against Ulster tomorrow at 7pm (4 September) and Scotland at 7pm on Saturday (5 September).
