Report by Ben Cunningham:

League action returns following last weekends cup action

In the ladies Prem, Vikings Ladies A will be hoping they can keep their good form up when they face Harlequins A who will want to try and get something from this game to extend the gap at the bottom of the league. Valkyrs A play Bacchas A for the second weekend in a row will this league game just be as close as their cup game last weekend which Valkyrs just took on penalty’s.

Another two teams meeting each other again for the second weekend in a row is Castletown A and Castletown B who face each other in another southern derby.

In the mens prem, after just loosing out last weekend to Vikings A on penalty’s in their cup game Harlequins A face Vikings B who are still searching for their first points of the season still.

Castletown A play Vikings A with Vikings knowing they need to get the win and Castletown knowing they need to try and get something from this game to keep them away from being dragged into the relegation zone.

Valkyrs A face Bacchas A for the second weekend in a row as they met in the cup last weekend which saw twelve goals be scored with Bacchas taking the win 8-4 could we have the same again this weekend ?

In ladies Div one, Ramsey ladies A play Bacchas B the northerns coming into this weekend top of the league and will be hoping they can keep their good form up but I’m sure Bacchas B will try their best to snatch something from this game.

Bacchas C who are still looking for their first points of the season face Valkyrs B who will be wanting to keep the pressures on at the top of the league.

Elsewhere Vikings B who are looking very strong this season and a team I think could be underdogs for the title in this league meet Castletown C who are just ahead of Bacchas C at the bottom of the league

In mens Div one, there is a big clash at the top of the league as Bacchas B top of the league face Ramsey A who sit second in the league this will be a big game for both teams.

Harlequins B face Valkyrs C in a match Harlequins will hope to try and get something from however Valkyrs do already have a victory to their name so far.

Castletown B who are hoping they can improve their run of form face Valkyrs B who won’t be a easy team to push aside.

In ladies Div two, Both games that are set to take place in this league look very close between evenly matched sides. Harlequins B head north to play Ramsey B and Valkyrs C welcome Castletown D to the west of the island

In mens Div two, the top two in this league face off as Bacchas C face Vikings C two evenly matched sides but who will come out on top ?

The young side of Bacchas Colts head north to play Ramsey B who are still looking for their first win of the season.

Finally two sides that met last weekend in the cup Castletown C play Harlequins C who took the victory last weekend however the winning goals came in the last five minutes of this game could it be as close as last weekend this weekend ?

In the U15’s league, Castletown Sabres play Valkyrs, and Harlequins face Vikings.
