Report by Ben Cunningham:

This weekend sees the finals of the Mixed Cup, Plate and Bowl all take place at the NSC

The first final of the day kicking off at 11:05 is the Mixed Bowl, this sees Ramsey Ravens play Bacchas Colts. Ramsey Ravens have had a good mixed season coming in runners-up in Division Two and scoring of plenty of goals in the process. Bacchas Colts finished their mixed season top of Division Three and undefeated, just like Ramsey Ravens they have also been scoring plenty of goals as well plus Bacchas Colts defensive record has been really good and they will hope this will keep Ramsey Ravens out. The umpires for this game are Alison Middleton and Georgia Foxton.

The second final is the Mixed Cup which kicks off at 13:00, this sees Vikings A and Bacchas A face off. Bacchas A clinched the Mixed Premier League last weekend when they beat Vikings A 3-1 and they also beat Vikings earlier in the season 6-0, Bacchas have been really good at scoring as well all season and will be making sure they keep this up in this game. Vikings A will be hoping they get one over Bacchas and not let them do the double, but they will have to make sure that the Vikings defence is strong enough to keep Bacchas out. The umpires for this game are Gary Corkill and Jon Gower-Jackson.

The final game kicks off at 15:00 which is the Mixed Plate, Harlequins A play Castletown Southerners. Last weekend Castletown helped Harlequins by beating Valkyrs C who could have won Division one had they won and Harlequins lost, Castletown’s passing ability has been really noticeable and they have been able to create some good attacks from them and they will hope they can do this again and cause Harlequins problems. Harlequins though will be looking to do the double and not just have their names on the league trophy but also get their name on the Plate, going forward they have been good and have scored plenty but definitely they have let a few goals slip in so I’m sure this will be a key point they'll want to make sure they don’t let slip in this big game. The match umpires for this game are Garreth Roome and Peter Foxton.

All these matches will be close matches and will be really good to watch, if you can get down to just one or all three match you definitely won’t be disappointed. There will also be live updates from the NSC all afternoon on Saturday Live (3 December) from the matches.
