
Manx player to lead national side in summer test series
Manx hockey player Sienna Dunn will captain the England Women's Under-21 team for an upcoming tournament next week.
The former Valkyrs competitor will take up the armband as the England squad takes part in a summer test series in Edegem, Belgium.
The ten-day tour starting Monday, 11 August and will see England face five matches.
Previously, Dunn also captained the England Under-18 side having entered the national team setup at the age of 16.
A number of other major competitions are on the horizon for England including the 2025 Junior World Cup in Chile in December and the EuroHockey Under-21 Championships in Spain in July and August 2026.
Along with her England commitments, Dunn is also continuing to balance commitments with the GB Elite Development Programme in the sport and university studies.
Domestically, Dunn is currently plying her trade with University of Nottingham in the Women's Premier Division and is expected to link up with her club for pre-season preparations in the coming weeks.
