After being the main man in practice all week, Hutchinson sealed the opening race of TT 2010 with something to spare.
His victory in the PokerStars Superbike TT from 44 seconds ahead of Michael Dunlop, with Australian Cameron Donald third, was his fourth TT success – and his best yet.
Guy Martin was fourth, Adrian Archibald fifth and Keith Amor sixth.
