Jack Camarda's volley stuns fans at the Bowl

A 3-0 victory over Wythenshawe Amateurs at the Bowl last night saw FC Isle of Man securing a place in the NWCFL Div 1 South play-off final next week.

The Ravens took the lead at the end of the first half thanks to a special goal from  Jack Camarda.

Wythenshawe Amateurs half-cleared a Ravens corner to the midfielder who, from 25 yards, hit a stunning half-volley into Ammies’ goalkeeper, Kyle Haslam’s top right corner.

It clattered the underside of the crossbar and sparked a roar of celebrations from the record home crowd.

'This is what we've wanted for years and years and if we can get it in our first season it will be a massive achievement for the club.'

Manx Radio's Rob Pritchard spoke with Jack Camarda after the match about that goal and looking ahead to next week's final:

The Manx side made it to three after two goals from Luke Murray in the second half.

The win means FC Isle of Man will host New Mills in the final at The Bowl next Saturday (16 April), with a provisional kick-off time of 6.30pm
