A goal in each half gives the Manx victory
The Isle of Man FA's senior men's representative side put in an impressive performance as they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers' under-23s this afternoon.
They won 2-0, thanks to a Sean Doyle goal after just two minutes and a Lee Gale penalty in the second half.
Three debutants started the match: Douglas Athletic Goalkeeper Matthew Quirk and Peel pair Rhys Oates and Matthew Skillicorn.
The match formed part of the Isle of Man's build-up to next year's inter-island football tournament in Anglesey, which is taking place because football isn't at next year's Island Games in Gibraltar.
