Almost 50 athletes to receive funding in 2020/21

Isle of Man Sport Aid has announced its list of scholarships for the upcoming season, with 49 athletes from more than a dozen sports set to benefit.

The 2020/21 scholarship programme provides "a combination of financial support towards their individual sporting needs, plus access to services and workshops at the Isle of Man Sport Institute."

The athletes will receive certificates during the Isle of Man Sports Awards at the Villa Marina on 2 April.

To be eligible, the recipients must be nominated by their sport's governing body and then go through a 'rigorous selection process.'
