St George’s have entered Manx football’s history books after clinching a second Grand Slam in just four years.
They completed a clean sweep of all the local trophies with a 2-1 victory over St Mary’s in yesterday’s (Sunday, May 17th) Hospital Cup Final.
Goals from Callum Morrissey and a Jack McVeigh penalty secured the trophy after St Mary’s had threatened to spoil the party through Stephen Whitley’s opener.
