Five medals now for the Isle of Man team in Orkney
The Isle of Man has received two bronze medals after strong cycling performances at the Island Games.
Tyler Hannay came third and agonisingly close to winning the individual road race as the top three were separated by less than a second with times of 2:19:29 in Orkney.
Meanwhile, the men's team was granted the Road Race Team Award and a second bronze medal thanks to strong performances also from Mark Horsthuis, Niall Quiggin, Callum Salisbury and Ivan Sorby.
This means the cycling team have now picked up five medals - Hannay with his second after winning gold in the men's individual time trial.
There'll be two more opportunities to win honours for the squad as the mountain bike cross country takes place on Thursday, 17 July.
While, the men's individual criterium will be held on Friday, 18 July.
