The Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling is the new title of the festival incorporating the Classic T.T. and Manx Grand Prix from 2013.
The name was revealed by Economic Development Minister John Shimmin in Tynwald yesterday.
He was being questioned by North Douglas M.H.K. John Houghton and confirmed that no contracts have been negotiated or agreed yet with teams or riders and, as a result, no appearance fees have been agreed either.
He confirmed talks over planning were continuing with the Manx Motor Cycle Club and there are no plans to pay prize money.
Minister Shimmin seemed somewhat erked to be questioned in so much detail by Mr Houghton:-
