Lucy Barnett and Carl Hartmann will play for ICC teams
Two Isle of Man cricketers have described the chance to represent European squads this month as a 'great opportunity'.
Lucy Barnett (19) and Carl Hartmann (21) will be part of the ICC Europe Women's and Men's Under-23 teams respectively for multiple T20 fixtures against the world-famous Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
The ladies will play two games with the first fixture is on Friday (17 April) at the iconic Lords Cricket Ground, and then the second on Saturday at the Wormsley Estate.
Meanwhile, the men play four T20 fixtures against the same opposition on Thursday, 30 April and Friday, 1 May at Wormsley.
Lucy has been involved with the national team set up since she was 15.
She says she is looking forward to the challenge:
Meanwhile, Carl who describes himself as an 'innovative' top order wicketkeeper batter started playing cricket when he was around 10/11 years-old.

Lucy and Carl aren't the only people to be involved in these matches though.
