44/50 to win, as Oates and Kneen miss out
At the fourth round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter English Sporting League, sponsored by National Windscreens, Jake Keeling was the winner at Blue Point on Sunday.
He finished on 44 from 50 in the 'A' class, with Kevin Oates second with 42 and Jack Kneen in third scoring 39.
Dave Roberts won the 'B' class with 38 scored, from Martin Malone and Fred Waggett on 26 and 21.
Finally, Peter Chadney won a close contest in the 'C' class, scoring 32, followed by Glyn Hooson-Owen and Winkie MacLeod on 30 and 29.
This week at Blue Point is the fourth round of the Winter DTL League, sponsored by Pro-Fab Welding.
Entries close at 10.15am.
