Manx rider says it's a 'long road' ahead but thankful for support
Isle of Man motorcycle racer, Jamie Cringle has returned to the Isle of Man to continue his recovery from a crash at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.
Following a spell of treatment off-Island, the rider's confirmed he arrived back on Manx shores earlier this week.
On his ongoing rehabilitation, Cringle adds it will be a 'long road' ahead but is thanking all those who've raised money to help him with his continuing recovery.
A fundraising campaign aiming to help the competitor with his rehabilitation has generated just under £48,000 as of this morning (11 July).
Last month, Cringle suffered multiple injuries in an incident at Union Mills during the Supersport TT Race 2 on Friday, 5 June.
Since then, he has received care at both Aintree Hospital and Noble's Hospital.
