Three-way tie in B class

Twenty-four shooters took part in the third round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Sporting Summer League at Blue Point on Sunday, sponsored by Harding Lewis.

Kevin Oates was the winner, scoring 40/50. Martin Kneen was second on 37 with Nigel Moffatt taking third on 34.

Corina Clague, Lynn MacLeod and Paul Magee tied for top spot in B class with 25.

Peter Lowe scored 28 to win C class from Ted Kermeen and Fred Waggett.

This Sunday’s competitions are 50 English Skeet league, sponsored by Penketh-Millar Architectural Design, and 100 English Skeet league.

Entries close at 10.15am.

Results:

A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 45/50; 2, Martin Kneen 37; 3, Nigel Moffatt 34.

B Class: 1=, Corina Clague, Lynn MacLeod and Paul Magee 25.

C Class: 1, Peter Lowe 28; 2, Ted Kermeen 24; 3, Fred Waggett 21.
