The Liberal Vannin Party has announced another candidate for next month's House of Keys general election.
Chris Thomas, a financial analyst and university lecturer who moved to the Island in summer 2001, will contest the two-seat constituency of West Douglas.
He has worked at the Isle of Man International Business School, the City of London and various places abroad including Beijing, as a project director for an EU-China banking project.
Mr Thomas was appointed LVP economics and business spokesman in June this year, a
month in which he attended the Liberal International Congress in Manila on behalf of the party.
He says: 'Liberal Vannin offers an alternative, common sense approach, most often supporting government, but vigorously opposing it when proposals fail to provide solutions this nation and its peoples need.'
There are currently five candidates in West Douglas, with Mr Thomas, Martin Moore and John Skinner challenging sitting members Geoff Corkish and John Shimmin.
