Organisers of the London 2012 Olympics have been forced to say sorry to Isle of Man fans after failing to recognise they qualified as British residents when applying for tickets.
That's despite Manx competitors such as Mark Cavendish being among the leading medal hopes for Team Great Britain.
An email sent to some Island bidders stated they were not eligible to go through the home nation system, and should contact their own National Olympic Committee.....which in our case is the British Olympic Committee.
A statement issued last night by London 2012 says the communication was sent in error, offers an apology and says all those affected have been contacted.
Glen Weaver even addressed an email to the Chairman of the Organising Committee Lord Coe - he's now received clarification over the issue:-
Triathlon: Will Draper to make third world tour wildcard appearance
Snooker: St Olave's take maximum points to go top
Davey Todd tops free practice at Macau
Pool: International Grand Finals gets underway at Comis Hotel
