Galbraith wins men's race, Atkinson the women's
Johnny Galbraith was the winner of the men's race at the 24-hour Longest Day Longest Ride mountain bike event at the weekend.
He completed 61 laps - the equivalent of 201 miles - in a total time of 24:06:27 at Conrhenny Plantation.
Stephen Kelly (60 laps / 198 miles) and Adrian Beale (59 laps / 194 miles) were second and third, respectively.
Emma Atkinson won the women's race, after completing 49 laps (161 miles).
Leah Clegg was second, having completed 39 laps (128 miles), while Jean Lynch was third (32 laps / 105 miles)
New Knees Please were the winners in the pairs event, having racked up 73 laps, with the team champions being the Bullet Men, who completed 80 laps.
