
The chief minister is calling for the Island's voters to turn out in force at Thursday's general election.
Tony Brown (pictured) is retiring after a 35-year career in Manx politics, 30 of which he spent as the MHK for Castletown.
He has been heartened by the increase in voter numbers, particularly among 16 and 17-year-olds.
One thousand, two hundred and ninety-seven have registered, up from 724 in 2006.
