Sussex 1-2 Lancashire
Two young Manx footballers helped seal victory for Lancashire over Sussex in the ESFA Under-18 Inter-County Cup today.
Sid Batty was named captain of the side, while Jack Camarda - who has featured for Canada Life Premier League outfit Castletown this term - had a place on the substitutes bench.
With the game level at 1-1 heading into the closing stages, Camarda entered the fray with little time remaining.
He still had time to provide the assist for the crucial strike in stoppage time, however, as Lancashire won 2-1 at the Bet365 Stadium in Stoke.
Speaking to Manx Radio Sport, the pair were delighted to lift the trophy:
Hockey: Two leagues split for crucial stage of mixed season
Rugby: Douglas face big clash against Vale of Lune
Netball: Manx Rams lose to defending champions Kenya in Singapore
