Expressions of interest being invited from aspiring first-timers
Aspiring Manx Grand Prix newcomers are being invited to put their names forward to potentially take part in the 2026 event.
The meeting's promoters - the Manx Motor Cycle Club - is now accepting expressions of interest from competitors who're interested in racing on the Snaefell Mountain Course next year.
Anyone interested in applying is asked to contact newcomers@mgp.co.im and provide a 'brief overview' of their racing background and experience before the deadline on Friday, 12 December, 2025.
Furthermore, two 'Newcomer Weekends' have been scheduled with the first on 21-22 February, 2026 and the other on 11-12 July, 2026.
Attendance at these events will be compulsory for first-time competitors.
The 2026 Manx Grand Prix will run parallel to next year's Classic TT between Sunday, 16 August and Friday, 28 August.
The MGP programme will begin with opening practice on 16 August with the final race day on Monday, 24 August.
