Forty-eighth running of endurance race
Endurance athletes in the Isle of Man have a great opportunity to work up an appetite for Easter eggs on Saturday.
The 48th edition of the Manx Mountain Marathon is taking place.
Around 100 fell runners will tackle the full route, which starts in Ramsey and finishes at Bradda Glen in Port Erin, after visiting 12 summit checkpoints en route.
The race is due start at 8am, with the leading runners expected in Port Erin some time after 12.30pm.
In addition, more than 80 runners are due to take part in the half-marathon, which starts in St John's and follows the southern section of the full course.
