Cameron Hawes will play key role in car development
A young Manxman has taken up a prestigious role as a test driver for the Electric Racing Academy Championship (ERA).
Eighteen-year-old Cameron Hawes takes up the position after winning the inaugural Software AG ERA Championship race in Zolder in Belgium in July.
He will play a key role in the software development of the cars and help the technology in the championship grow for the future.
Cameron says he's really looking forward to all aspects of what he says will be a brand new experience for him:
Hockey: Under-14 boys heading to England Championship final
TT 2026: 20-year-old to make debut this summer
Rugby: Island ladies selected for UK side
Football: Corinthians win late against Peel to book FA Cup final spot
