
Two Manx cyclists are going for gold in the velodrome at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi this morning (Wednesday).
Mark Christian and Chris Whorrall are both in the final of the 40km points race.
Yesterday, Christian qualified in some style, winning his heat with 27 points after gaining a lap, winning one intermediate sprint and placing in another, while Whorrall finished fifth in his heat.
The final is at 9.50am, Manx time.
Also in action today is Alex Hedges in the men's all-round gymnastics final, and a number of the Island's shooters have their first taste of action.
