Marty edges FITASC championships

Jake Brew wins junior prize

Marty Kneen showed his class to become a Manx shooting champion again.

He won the annual FITASC Sporting Manx Championship at Blue Point range on Sunday, sponsored by Sadler Agricultural Supplies.

He scored 69 in the competition, just one shot clear of runner-up Kevin Oates with Neil Parsons a further six back on third place.

Jake Brew took the junior prize with a fine 56, three ahead of Jack Kneen on 53 with Michael Cross in third on 41.
