Weekend football preview

Leaders St Marys can give themselves breathing space at the top of the Canada Life Premier League this weekend when they welcome Marown to The Bowl.

The Saints halted Corinthians' six-match winning run last time out and can go three points clear at the summit with victory this weekend.

Marown are seeking only their second win this term and head into the game after a score draw with Douglas Royal last week.

All the big guns are at home on Saturday, with Corinthians, Peel and St Georges - who are all vying for a Railway Cup spot.

The Whites are aiming to get back to winning ways when they take on Pulrose, who got their first point of the season in their previous outing.

Another side who slipped to a defeat last week were St Georges, with Ramsey the visitors to Glencruthcery Road tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Peel know they need maximum points from their remaining matches in the first half of the season if their to qualify for the Railway Cup, as they prepare to face Douglas Royal.
