
Brothers Jamie and Daniel McCanney performed creditably in the British Youth Motocross Championship at Brampton in Cumbria on Saturday.
Daniel took ninth place in the open class, while in the 85cc class, Jamie overcame an injured wrist to gain a 12th and a ninth place in the two races.
Jamie, who receives sponsorship from the Manx Sports Aid Foundation, goes to Holland on Monday for motocross practice with fellow competitors from the UK.
