Motorsport legend wants retire on his terms
Twenty-three-time TT winner John McGuinness admits he contemplated ending his career following a serious injury.
He fractured his leg and suffered multiple broken vertebrae after coming off his machine at the North West 200 earlier this year.
The Morecambe Missile has revealed hopes of competing in next year's TT Zero but concedes a return to the big bikes may be a bridge too far.
Speaking to BBC Northern Ireland, he said he's keen to retire under his own rules:
Football: Top two clash in Division 2
TT 2026: Michael Evans stays with Dafabet for second year
TT 2026: Paul Jordan extends with Jackson Racing for third year
Hockey: Ladies Masters reach England Hockey Semi-Finals
