Motorsport legend wants retire on his terms
Twenty-three-time TT winner John McGuinness admits he contemplated ending his career following a serious injury.
He fractured his leg and suffered multiple broken vertebrae after coming off his machine at the North West 200 earlier this year.
The Morecambe Missile has revealed hopes of competing in next year's TT Zero but concedes a return to the big bikes may be a bridge too far.
Speaking to BBC Northern Ireland, he said he's keen to retire under his own rules:
Hockey: Under-14 boys heading to England Championship final
TT 2026: 20-year-old to make debut this summer
Hockey: Under 16 girls beaten in England Championship Semi-Final
Rugby: Island ladies selected for UK side
