There were some excellent performances by Manx archers at this weekend's National Junior Championships held at Lilleshall.
Eleven year old Aalin George took home a bronze medal in the under 13 girls competition. Unfortunately she had a bad last dozen arrows as she was unwell, having been challenging for first place.
In the under 16 recurve competition older sister Charlotte George started with some poor shots, but she came back and finished only two points behind the winner in silver medal position.
Alex Snell in the under 18 boys recurve was well below his best and finished out of the placings.
