Most to be given out at Southern 100
Metzeler is providing special tyre sponsorship to some of the ‘rising stars’ of road racing, who were at the recent Post-TT meeting and will contest the Southern 100 in July.
Three competitors were given their prizes at the end of the Post-TT by the Southern 100's rider liaison officer, Chris Palmer.
Winsford’s Jonathan Perry, along with Manxies Jamie Williams and Ryan Kneen received certificates which can be exchanged for a set of Metzeler racing tyres of their choice.
A further seven certificates will be awarded to up-and-coming competitors who are not contracted to any tyre supplier at the Southern 100.
In addition to the ten sets of racing tyres, Metzeler is supplying a further five sets of road tyres to people who marshal at the Southern 100.
The five marshals to benefit will be announced live on Manx Radio by Tim Glover on Championship Day at the race meeting (Thursday, 12 July).
