Riders get out, but newcomers cut short
After concerns Tuesday evening's Festival of Motorcycling practice session wouldn't go ahead, riders were able to get out on time.
There were issues with visibility about 45 minutes in, though, with reports it wasn't fully clear on the Mountain section of the TT Course.
It was touch and go as to whether the session would continue, but Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson took the decision to send the next wave of machines out after a slight delay.
Finally, it was the turn of the Manx Grand Prix newcomers, who set off at about 7.40pm but had their time limited because of the darkening conditions, as Gary Thompson announced:
Athletics: Island trio impresses on world race walking stage
Sidecars excluded from Southern 100
Football: Draw made for 2026 Paul Henry Gold Cup
Jamie Coward happy with progress so far on TT return
