Former Olympic cyclist Marie Morgan says she's thrilled and honoured to have been appointed as an Ambassador for the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association.
In her role, she will help promote the Manx team for Glasgow 2014 and support fund-raising events.
Marie, who was the first Briton to win a stage of the women's Tour de France, believes Manx cycling and sport in general is at an all-time high.
The Isle of Man has been competing at the Commonwealth Games since 1958 and has won 10 medals.
The most recent were two in Melbourne in 2006 and two in Delhi in 2010 - Marie says expectation will be high in Glasgow but believes more success will come:-
