Southern Nomads tightened their grip on the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield with a solid performance, defeating Ramsey B 53-0 at King Williams College.
The game was originally intended to be the second leg of a Cheshire Plate qualifier but some late wrangling behind the scenes had it rebadged as Manx Shield only.
Nomads are now five points clear of Douglas B who have a game in hand.
Their comprehensive victory was secured through a hat-trick of tries from James Hammal, two from Ross McCulloch and one apiece from Harry Brereton, Josh Samuels, Adam Dawkins and Dave Parks.
