Isle of Man finishes fourth following defeat in bronze medal match
Northern Ireland were crowned champions at this year's Europe Netball Open event, held at the NSC in Douglas.
A closely-contested 60-58 win over the United Arab Emirates handed the Northern Irish side the 1st Division title, while in the third-place playoff the Republic of Ireland beat the Isle of Man 51-41.
In Division 2, Gibraltar took the honours, defeating France 46-30, while Malta secured a narrow 43-41 win over Switzerland.
The players of the tournament were Alana Farrell-Morton from UAE in Division 1 and Tatum Maher of France in Division 2.
