NSC made more inclusive following flood setback

Disability Sports Development Officer says participation numbers are up

Inclusivity is very much the aim for those in charge of the National Sports Centre in Douglas.

The Department of Education and Children had the responsibility of refurbishing and restoring the site following severe flooding at the back end of 2015.

Many facilities have since been revamped to improve access for disabled people and those recovering from illness or injury.

The Island's Disability Sports Development Officer is Ari Brooks.

He believes the changes have attracted more people to use the NSC:
