Louis Smith MBE says sport can benefit people from all walks of life
Olympic gymnast, Louis Smith MBE, says he feels 'very privileged' to be the guest of honour at the 2022 Isle of Man Sports Awards this evening (30 March).
Smith will be one of the star names at the ceremony tonight at the Villa Marina in Douglas which will celebrate the work and success of all those across the Manx sporting community.
As well as claiming four medals across three Olympic Games between 2008 and 2016, Smith also earned three world championship medals, two European golds and the 2006 Commonwealth Games pommel horse title.
Speaking to Manx Radio, Smith describes how it feels to be involved in this year's awards as well as the benefits of sport to people from all walks of life:
