Onchan hold leaders

10-goal thriller at Foxdale

After eight straight wins, Braddan have dropped points for the first time this season.

That’s after the JCK Division Two table toppers were held to a 1-1 draw at Onchan.

Josh Brockbank cancelled out Andy Glover’s first half opener for the leaders.

It was also honours even at Billy Goat Park as second placed Foxdale and Castletown shared 10 goals.

It was goalless for the first 44 minutes when the home side took the lead only for Town to score twice in as many minutes to go in front.

From that moment there were goals galore.

Jay Chatwood, Andrew Berry (two), Harry Kennish and Aaron Costain were on target for the home side with Dan McLaughlin, Tom Hulse, Michael Collister (two) and Pat Reilly replying for Town.

Ramsey Youth Centre were too strong for Pulrose at Lezayre Road.

They won 5-3 at home, despite goals for the visitors from the in-form Dale Walker and Barry English.

Gymns were given a scare before emerging 3-2 home winners over Governor’s Athletic.

Mark Connor (two) and Joe Murphy grabbed the goals for the home side.

Daniel Thirwell and Bell netted for the visitors.

Douglas and District continued their progress with a fine 4-0 triumph over Michael – Ben Hall, Dale Kenna (two) and youngster Jake Turner Oliver the scorers.

Bottom club Malew were beaten 8-0 at home by Marown.

Jamie Crook, Stuey Morris (three), Robert Thorn, Kevin Druggan, Alex Marley and Cameron Avery grabbed the goals.
