Manx runner ticks off 7 of 11 check-points
Orran Smith is battling extreme conditions in arguably one of the already most extreme races in the UK: The Spine Race.
Setting off last Sunday, the Manx athlete has so far reached 7 of the 11 checkpoints on the 268 mile race, which started in in the South Dales and finishes in Scotland.
Competitors have 160 hours to complete the event, 50 have already retired.
Orran has buddied up with a fellow runner Clarens Olsson from Sweden.
He's doing the race to raise money for the Isle of Man MS Society and has raised more than £5000 so far.
