Entries for next summer's Manx Telecom Parish Walk will be taken online from just after midnight tonight.
The 2012 event website will go live at 00.01 hours tomorrow (Thursday).
A record 1,756 signed up for this year's 85-mile challenge and organisers are hoping to break the 2,000 barrier for the first time.
Race director Ray Cox says there is a competition amongs some entrants to be the first to register (listen to audio file below):

The race will start from the National Sports Centre at 8am on Saturday, June 23.
As usual, the aim is to visit all 17 of the Isle of Man's parishes inside 24 hours.
