Peel beat St. George's to lift cup

Extra-time needed at Castletown

Peel are the winners of the Paddy Power FA Cup.

The westerners beat holders St. George's 3-2 after extra-time at Castletown Stadium.

They took the lead early in the second half thanks to a penalty from Josh Kelly and it got worse for Geordies when Jack McVey was sent-off for a second yellow card shortly after.

St. George's got level after a great finish from Joey Morling and the game headed for an extra thirty minutes.

Peel went back in front through an Ashley Webster header but a Ciaran McNulty shot levelled matters again.

But with the game heading for a penalty shoot-out - Ashley Webster finished after being set up by Lee Gale.

Peel Manager Steve Falconer was proud but somewhat overcome at the final whistle:
