Peel resident Andrew Pitt finished 10th in Sunday's ninth round of the World Supersport Championship at Donington Park.
He had started from 15th on the grid.
Cal Crutchlow won the race, shrugging off the broken ankle he picked up in qualifying to take a fourth win of the year.
