Andrew Pitt crashed out of round four of the World Supersport Championship in Assen, Holland, yesterday.
The Peel resident was having a good race and was out in front early on before dropping back into the battle for a podium finish.
But when Cal Crutchlow and Fabien Foret took each other wide at the hairpin on lap 15, Pitt low-sided off his Ten Kate Honda as he tried to sneak up the inside.
Worse was to follow when Crutchlow then seemingly ran over his arm.
Pitt was left with no feeling in it initially, but says he hasn't broken anything.
The defending champion's title hopes have taken a big hit though, he's dropped to fifth in the standings, 31 points behind championship leader Crutchlow.
