
Premier Crew lived up to their name with victory in the opening race of the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Powerboat Championships in Douglas Bay on Saturday.
Cider Daze and M&M Racing completed the top three in the 150 horse power race.
Meanwhile, Negotiator won the 225 event, ahead of Team RayMarine and Salcombe Honda Specialists.
Thirty-six teams are competing in two categories and there’s more of what should be exhilarating action lined up on Sunday afternoon with the second 150 and 225 races due to start at 1pm and 2pm respectively.
Honda has a high profile presence on Douglas Promenade - alongside several hospitality marquees there are stalls, music and commentary to entertain the public.
It’s the third successive year the series has been held in the Island.
