Horse dies after win at Cheltenham
There was sad news for Island-based multi-millionaire businessman and racehorse owner Trevor Hemmings on Saturday.
His horse Many Clouds collapsed and died at Cheltenham, shortly after securing a hard-fought victory in the Cotswold Chase, handing Thistlecrack its first defeat over fences in the process.
Many Clouds is one of three of Mr Hemmings' horses to win the Grand National, doing so in 2015.
The others are Hedgehunter in 2005 and Ballabriggs in 2011.
Mr Hemmings owns Ballaseyr Stud and lives at Ballavoddan, which are both in Andreas.
